THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF
A BEGGAR
I am the happiest soul
on earth. I have no body to look after, no body to feed and no work to do. I
have no cares and no worries. I get up when I like, and I sleep where I please.
I get all I need, simply for the asking. All that I have to do is to approach
the right person. And I know how to hypnotize him (her). My lifelong experience
in this line has taught me the art of successful begging. I know what to say at
a particular moment and to whom. My pockets are always full, for mine is the
most profitable profession!
