A COOLIE AT A RAILWAY STATION

A COOLIE AT A RAILWAY STATION

A coolie is a poor man. He wears a red shirt and a red turban. He is seen at almost every railway station. He displays his number on his chest or the right arm. His wages is fifty paisa per trip, but he is never satisfies with that. He carries the passenger luggage to the platform and places it in the compartments they desire to occupy. Similarly, he takes it to the Tonga or taxi they hire, when they get down from the train. He is, thus, a very useful member of society.
