THE BULLOCK-CART
The bullock-cart is a popular means of conveyance in rural areas. It is
also used for carrying heavy loads from one place to another. It is still found
in such big cities as Lahore and Karachi. It is drawn by oxen. It moves slowly
along the road, creaking and jolting. It has no roof to protect the carter or
the load, from rain or sunshine. The villagers can’t help making use of it for
taking their families from one place to another. It is, no doubt, a very useful
thing.
