A HOT DAY IN SUMMER
It was the 21st of june. The sun was shining very brightly.
Everybody was perspiring from top to toe. Fans and cold
drinks gave no relief.
The streets and the roads looked almost deserted, at about 11 a.m. none could
dare to come out without an umbrella in hand. Some shopkeepers were asleep in
the cool corners of their shops. But very late in the afternoon, the streets
began to show signs of life. Pedestrians, cyclists, Tonga and motor-cars began
to move about. Luckily cold wind begins to blow a little after sunset.
Everybody seemed to thank god for his kindness.
