THE GAME OF HOCKEY
Hockey is played almost all the world
over. It is my favorite game. Its ground is 100 yards by 55 to
60 yards, and the Centre line is clearly marked. Ends are decided in the first place by a toss, and they are changed after the interval. It starts or restarts by a bully, in the middle of the ground. A game consists of seventy-five minutes and the interval never exceeds five minutes. There are two referees to see that the rules of the game are observed. And they penalize the side whose player breaks a rule.
