The lion is a strong and brave beast. It has long hair on its neck. It is very fearful to look at. It is found in the jungles of
Asia and Africa. It lives in dens. It is called “the king of the forest”. It kills goats, sheep, deer, cows and other animals with its sharp claws. It is one of the worst enemies of man. Hunters steal its cub away to train them to show wonderful feats in circus shows.
